Big Boulder PARK is being covered in a strange, wet, snow-like substance

Our team of scientists is currently observing what appears to be warm snow falling all over the mountain. Unlike your every day frozen snow, this warm snow (our scientists are calling it 'wnow') has no structural integrity and seems to actually have an adverse affect on the existing cold snow on our trails. We're looking into solutions right now, but it doesn't look good for today (more details after the jump)

Our head scientist has proposed re-routing the wnow into the ice machines in the lodge, thereby converting it into normal snow. Unfortunately our groomers do not fit in the lodge and park crew is (understandably) too frightened by the wnowfall to venture outside. So there currently exists no way to transport the frozen wnow onto the mountain.

As a result, Big Boulder PARK will be closed today, Monday January 25, 2010 due to wnow.

If any of you, our faithful pawns guests, have any ideas as to how to stop, deflect or utilize this wnow, head over to the contact page and let us know. If you're as clueless as we are, just wait until tomorrow.

In the mean time, check out all the photos and videos we've put online (and vote on them!), add us on facebook, myspace and twitter, and have a cool, dry, wnow free day!
